Efling organises trips in Iceland this
summer
This summer Efling is offering trips
for members of the union. One trip is
planned for this summer, in July, and
two daytrips in August and September
to a place closer to Reykjavík. You can
read about these offers in this paper
and on the Efling web site. If you are
interested do not hesitate to call the
Efling office for further information.
Efling has about 60 holiday houses,
over the summertime, all around
the country and you can also rent a
trailer-tents/campers with support
from the union. Efling also organizes
trips in the country for members and
now you can buy the Icelandic fishing
card, Camping card and Golf card in
Efling office.
For the summer and winter period holi-
day houses need to be applied for within
the advertised period.
During the summertime applicants are
allotted houses by a special system which
is based on a number of months that a
person has paid union dues during the
last 12 years.
First come - first serve
If no applications are for a particular
week after the first and second distribu-
tion, the rest of the holiday houses will
be distributed according to a special
advertisement regardless of the point
system. Those interested need to come
to the union’s office on April 29th and
first come, first serve basis applies.
